I hope everyone had a great holiday season and is ready for an exciting 2026. I am excited for all of the Crokinole we have planned for the year and look forward to seeing all of you there. Lets Jump in.
Winter League
Our next League night is this Saturday Jan 17th starting promptly at 6pm at Steeplejack. If you can please get there early to get drinks and food so we can start on time!
The first week of the 2026 Winter League was a lot of fun, I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Scores for the first week are up on the website and I will be adding scores there as they become available.

Upcoming Events!
Newberg Gaming Convention
We will be running Crokinole events at the Newberg Gaming Convention on 1/31. The convention is at George Fox University and is $10 to get in. We will have Open Play in the morning and a small tournament in the afternoon. I hope some of you can make it, it looks like a fun convention with lots of board gaming going on in addition to Crokinole. Gamestorm 2026
I am currently in talks with the organizers of Gamestorm, the Portland area's oldest and largest gaming convention. Dates for the convention are March 19th-22nd. The plan is to host Crokinole Events Saturday and Sunday of the convention. I will share more details as things become more solid and we get closer to the dates.
Open Play
With the league in full swing over the next few months we will be adding a Wednesday night Open Play night. This will be the night we encourage new players to come to so they can get the attention they deserve while learning how to play. It will also be a time for all of us to practice outside of League Nights. I will have new drills and fun variations focused on improving everyone's Crokinole skills. I am shooting for the first night to be mid February, I will share the date as soon as it is confirmed.
Spreading the love!
Our new home of Steeplejack Pizza and Beer is awesome, but for some it may not be the greatest location, the Portland Area is BIG! With that in mind I am looking for other locations where we can host some of our events and hopefully draw in new players. We are not leaving Steeplejack, just spreading the love of Crokinole to other areas of the Portland Metro area. If you know of a venue that has great tables and would be willing to host our club please let me know.
